A leading electronic payment company requested our assistance in producing an entirely web based version of their Intranet application. The challenge consisted in interfacing to their existing Oracle backend and preserving previous investment by reusing the already implemented business services layer running on BEA Weblogic. After some initial design discussions both companies agreed on a J2EE compliant web-tier architecture utilizing FinMT's JSP and JAVA servlets skill set to create a browser based front-end. Since the new web-tier was also running on BEA Weblogic, it ensured seamless integration with the existing back-end system and increased our client's ROI. We also agreed to create a joint development team so that we could meet the incredibly aggressive deadline for this project. This application was successfully implemented and delivered in less than 3 months.
